Prayers for Purification

Prayers for a clean heart, a fresh start, and a home that honors Him.

“Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me.”Psalm 51:10 · World English Bible

When you want to be clean on the inside, not only on the outside.

Purify me with hyssop, and I will be clean. Wash me, and I will be whiter than snow. Psalm 51:7

Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me. Psalm 51:10

Lord, I’m asking You to clean me. Not just my actions, but my thoughts, my motives, and the things I hold on to. Wash me. Take out what doesn’t belong, and fill the space with You. I can’t clean myself, so I’m coming to You as I am. Create a clean heart in me. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Come into the light, and let Him wash you.

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin. 1 John 1:7

Jesus, You are the One who cleanses. I come into the light, and I ask You to wash me from everything that stains. Cleanse my eyes, my mouth, and my heart. Forgive what I’ve done, and free me from what I keep repeating. Make me clean, and make me new. In Jesus’ name, amen.

For your home, your family, and what you let in.

Father, purify our home. Remove what doesn’t honor You, and let Your peace fill every room. Purify our words, our habits, and what we watch and listen to. Make our family a place that is clean, honest, and warm. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Start the day clean.

Lord, as I begin this day, make me clean. Wash away yesterday’s mistakes and today’s temptations. Purify my thoughts before I speak. Keep my heart pure toward everyone I’ll meet. In Jesus’ name, amen.
