Prayers for My Wife

The one to pray tonight.

Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh. Proverbs 18:22

Lord, thank You for my wife. Bless her, and keep her. Give her strength for what she carries and peace for what she fears. Help me love her the way You love us. Let her know she is cherished, by me and by You. In Jesus’ name, amen.

For her body and her rest.

Father, I ask for my wife’s health. Heal what hurts. Give her rest, and give her strength. Guide her doctors, and give her peace. Let her know she’s not alone. I’m with her, and so are You. In Jesus’ name, amen.

When she’s out, or traveling, or just carrying a lot.

Lord, keep my wife safe. Protect her on the road, at work, and in her heart. Guard her from harm and from discouragement. Bring her home in peace. In Jesus’ name, amen.

For the two of you.

Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection. Colossians 3:14

God, bless my wife and our marriage. Help me be a better husband: patient, present, and kind. Show me how to serve her. Help us stay close through every season. Thank You for her. In Jesus’ name, amen.

For the wife who holds everything together.

Strength and dignity are her clothing. She laughs at the time to come. Proverbs 31:25

Father, my wife is tired. She carries more than she says. Give her rest she hasn’t had. Remind her it’s okay to ask for help. And show me what to do to lighten her load. In Jesus’ name, amen.

As she starts her day.

Lord, as my wife starts her day, go with her. Give her what she needs. Let her feel loved, seen, and strong. Thank You for her. In Jesus’ name, amen.
