Prayers for Prosperity and Success

Prosperity is more than money. Ask for all of it.

This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it; for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success. Joshua 1:8

He will be like a tree planted by the streams of water, that produces its fruit in its season, whose leaf also does not wither. Whatever he does shall prosper. Psalm 1:3

Lord, I’m asking You for prosperity, and I want to define it Your way. Let me flourish in my work, my health, my family, and my faith. Provide what I need, and let me have enough to give. Don’t let me confuse more with better. Let what I do prosper because You are in it. In Jesus’ name, amen.

For your work, your studies, or your calling.

God, I want to succeed at what You’ve given me to do. Give me wisdom and discipline. Help me work hard and rest well. When I fail, teach me. When I succeed, keep me humble. Let my success be about more than me. Let it serve the people around me. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Abundance is what He gives when we trust Him.

Father, You are able to do more than I can ask or imagine. I’m asking for abundance: in love, in joy, in provision. Give me more than I need, so that I can help others. Teach me to trust You when there isn’t enough, and to be generous when there is. Let my cup overflow, and let it run to other people. In Jesus’ name, amen.

The two together: good work, and a good life.

Lord, bless my work, and bless my life. Let what I do succeed, and let what I have be enough. Give me the courage to take the right risks, and the patience to wait. Keep me honest in every deal. Let my prosperity be a way to bless others. In Jesus’ name, amen.

For the blessings that aren’t money.

God, I ask for abundant blessings: health for my family, peace in my home, work I can be proud of, and friends who love me well. Let me notice what I already have. Give me more of You, because that is the blessing that lasts. In Jesus’ name, amen.

When you want to build a life that matters.

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them. Ephesians 2:10

Lord, I want my life to count. Help me pursue what is good, not only what is impressive. Show me the work You’ve prepared for me, and give me the character to do it well. Let me be faithful in small things. Let success, in Your eyes, be what I’m after. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Before the day starts, ask Him to go before you.

Lord, before the day starts, bless what I’m about to do. Give me focus, honesty, and kindness. Let my work be good, and let me finish what matters. Whatever the day brings, help me do it as for You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
