Prayers for Good Luck and Good Fortune

Good fortune is a gift. Ask the Giver.

Lord, I’m asking You for good fortune. I don’t want to leave my life to chance, so I’m bringing it to You. Go before me. Open the doors that should open, and give me favor with the people I need. Let good things come my way, and give me a grateful heart when they do. Whatever comes, I know You are good. In Jesus’ name, amen.

For a big day: a test, a game, a trip, an interview.

God, I have something important ahead, and I’d like it to go well. I won’t call it luck, because I believe You are in charge. So I’m asking for Your favor. Give me a clear mind and steady nerves. Let the right things happen at the right time. Whatever the outcome, help me be grateful and kind. In Jesus’ name, amen.

To say, or to send to someone with a big day ahead.

May God go with you today. May He give you a clear mind, a calm heart, and good timing. May the right doors open, and may you be ready when they do. You’re in my prayers. Go and do your best. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Father, every good thing I have came from You. When things go well, remind me to thank You, not just to feel lucky. When things go badly, remind me You haven’t left. Let my fortune, good or bad, draw me closer to You. Bless my life with what You see I need. In Jesus’ name, amen.

When you are hoping for a break.

Lord, I’m hoping for a break, and I’m asking You for it. I don’t know what’s best, so I’m leaving it in Your hands. If this is the right thing, let it happen. If it isn’t, redirect me. Give me patience while I wait, and trust when I can’t see. In Jesus’ name, amen.

For a new job, a new business, or a new start.

God, I’m starting something new, and I want it to succeed. Bless the work of my hands. Give me wisdom, perseverance, and good timing. Send the right people and the right opportunities. And let my success be something I can thank You for, and share. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Before the day starts, ask Him to go with you.

Lord, before this day starts, I’m asking You to go with me. Give me favor in what I do. Open the doors that need to open, and close the ones that should be closed. Help me notice every good thing You send my way. I trust You with the day. In Jesus’ name, amen.
