Wednesday Morning Prayer

For the middle of the week, where it’s easy to coast.

Satisfy us in the morning with your loving kindness, that we may rejoice and be glad all our days. Psalm 90:14

Lord, it’s Wednesday. I’m not starting fresh and I’m not finishing yet. I’m just in the middle, where it’s easy to coast or quit. Meet me here. Satisfy me this morning with Your love, so I don’t go looking for it in praise or in my phone. Give me what I need for the second half of the week. In Jesus’ name, amen.

For hump day.

Therefore we don’t faint, but though our outward man is decaying, yet our inward man is renewed day by day. 2 Corinthians 4:16

Father, I’m over the hump, or I’m stuck on it. Either way, encourage me. Remind me that I don’t have to finish the whole week today, just today. Renew me on the inside even when I feel worn on the outside. And let me be the encouraging voice for someone else this afternoon. In Jesus’ name, amen.
