Lord, it’s Friday. Thank You for carrying me through this week. Help me finish today well: no sloppy work because my mind is already on the weekend, no snapping at people because I’m tired. Tie up the loose ends I can, and help me let go of the ones I can’t. Then give me real rest. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Lord, some people say today is unlucky. I don’t believe in luck. I believe in You. This day is Yours like every other day. Keep me from fear and from silly superstition. Let me walk through Friday the 13th the way I walk through any day: trusting You, doing good, and grateful. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Lord, the alarm went off, and it’s the last early morning of the week. Thank You for waking me up. Give me energy for one more day, and a heart that’s glad to be here. Let my first thought be of You, and my last task today be done well. In Jesus’ name, amen.
