Thursday Morning Prayer

Those who wait for the Lord will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31

Lord, it’s Thursday, and I can see Friday from here. Don’t let me coast through today. Give me strength for the work that’s left, patience with the people who are tired too, and courage for the thing I’ve been putting off all week. Let me finish strong, and finish with You. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Father, lift me up this morning. The week has been long, and I’ve given a lot. Remind me that You are not tired of me. Let me hear something good today: a kind word, a small win, a verse that lands at the right time. And let me pass that encouragement on before the day is over. In Jesus’ name, amen.

God, the afternoon is dragging, and I’m tempted to check out early. Keep me faithful in the small stuff: the email I don’t want to send, the call I need to return. Let me finish this day’s work honestly, and leave the rest for tomorrow. In Jesus’ name, amen.
