Lord, my friend has had a long night, maybe a long season. Remind them that You rejoice over them, that You aren’t disappointed in them. Calm them with Your love. Bring their morning, and let joy come back sooner than they expect. In Jesus’ name, amen.

It is because of Yahweh’s loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion doesn’t fail. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23

Those who wait for the Lord will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31

Father, my friend is tired of being strong. Your mercy is new today, even for them. Renew their strength while they wait on You. Let them run when they can and walk when they can’t, and don’t let them give up. In Jesus’ name, amen.
